The Fighter
From the first ray of light he was born to fight
his way of life it always seemed right
until one night something was just not right
the results came in training was to begin
a new foe he must face
a foe without a face
the name made my heart ache
and as if in a race
the tears began to run down my face
then fear set in place many thoughts begin to race
NO ONE COULD EVER TAKE YOUR PLACE!
In a warm embrace
he stopped to kiss my face
he firmly took my hand and made a statement like no other Man

just sit back and wait
