Tina's obituary
Tina Renee Rankin, 60, passed away Tuesday March 31, 2026, finding her mama’s face in a crowd in Heaven.
She was born on January 25, 1966, in Kennett, Missouri to LV (Pete) and Pauline Baugus. Later in life, she married the love of her life Perry Rankin. Together they built a life in the country, enjoying each other’s company, taking adventures, and making countless cherished memories.
Tina was a force to be reckoned with- strong, dedicated, fun, and fiercely loyal. After 34 years as an employee at Perrigo, she retired and looked forward to making more memories with those she loved. While she deeply loved her husband and their marriage, she was most proud of her children and grandchildren. Through hard work and determination, she raised her children as a single mother, loving them beyond measure. Her camera roll stood as proof of a love that knew no bounds.
She found joy in spending her time with her husband, Perry, whether that was fishing, an adventure or sitting outside on the patio. She also enjoyed thrifting, cooking and trying new recipes, sipping rum and cokes, talking on the phone, listening to her tunes, and just being present with family. Tina was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, LV (Pete) and Pauline Baugus. And survived by her husband, Perry Rankin; her children: Brandon (DIL Heather) Plasterer and Tasha Plasterer; step children Nicole (Brett) Johnson and Hunter (Alexis) Rankin; her beloved grandchildren: Raelyn, Harper, Malaki, Silas, Ja’Della, Nova, Xyuri, Royce, Riley, and Brynlee; sister Debbie (Howell) Riggs; brother Gary Baugus; niece Kelly; and Sherry, who provided her with so much comfort and love. She is survived by several family members and friends who loved her dearly throughout her short 60 years with us.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
