Tina's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Tina Daly Price on June 28, 2025, following a brief but courageous battle after an unexpected cardiac event. She was 63 years old.
Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario to Gerard and Georgine Daly, Tina was a lifelong lover of the arts, a devoted member of the St. Aloysius choir, and a cherished part of her community. Her spirit of generosity and joy was felt by all who knew her.
Tina married the love of her life, Les, in 1986 after meeting at a company baseball game in 1984. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion for 39 years. She was a proud mother to four children—Jennifer, Nichole, Danielle, and Quinn—and a doting grandmother to Matthew and Lana.
Tina dedicated 45 years of her life as a pharmacy technician at Shoppers Drug Mart, where she formed lasting relationships and took great pride in helping others. Her kindness knew no bounds—always ready to give, to support, and to care, even when it came at a personal cost.
A joyful soul, Tina brought laughter and warmth wherever she went. She had a remarkable ability to find delight in the everyday—dancing and singing with her family, crafting handmade gifts, crocheting blankets, or dressing up for Halloween. Her spaghetti sauce and chili were legendary, her garden was her pride, and her love for Christmas, baking, and her dogs filled her home with comfort and love.
Tina volunteered for many years at Blessed Sacrament School during her children’s and grandchildren’s school years, generously chaperoning trips, baking for fundraisers, and always celebrating the highs and supporting through the lows.
She now rejoins her beloved parents, Gerard and Georgine, her brother, Daniel, and her nephew Kyle. She is survived by her loving husband Les; her children and grandchildren; her brothers Thomas (Denise), Timothy (Wilma), and Terry (Alex); as well as her cherished niece Lydia and nephew Erik.
A Memorial Mass will be held on August 28th at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church at 305 Laurentian Dr. in Kitchener. A celebration of life will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Church, 54 Benton St., Kitchener. In honour of Tina’s bright and creative spirit, attendees are encouraged to wear floral or bright attire.
Donations to the family are appreciated as they navigate this sudden loss.
Tina’s sense of humour, intelligence, and childlike whimsy will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
