Mrs. Tina Hector

New Iberia, La- Mrs. Tina Hector, 81, a native and a resident of New Iberia, La died on Saturday January 19th, 2022 at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, La. Funeral services will be on January 28th at St. Edward Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 7:00 a.m. at Journet & Bolden Funeral Home 711 S. Corinne Street in New Iberia, La. The rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. at Journet & Bolden conducted by the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Edward Catholic Church. Funeral services will be conducted by Monsignor Ronald Broussard; internment will follow in St. Edward Catholic Church Cemetery Mausoleum on W. Dale Street in New Iberia, La.

Mrs. Hector is survived by her husband Mr. Robert Hector Sr.; three sons, Roger Hector of Tampa Florida, Robert Hector Jr. and Kaven Hector both of New Iberia, La.; one daughter Melanie Hector of New Iberia, La.; one brother, Martin Jacquet (Clara) of New Iberia, La.; two sisters, Leona J. Guillory (Mack Sr.) of New Iberia, La, and Audrey Broussard (Russell) of Miami, Florida; five grandchildren, Shika Hector Shadid, Raven Hector, Tristin Fields and Miracle Fields; two great-grand children, Najee Shadid Jr. and Lyric Shadid and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement Jacquet Sr. and Lillian Johnson Jaquet; one daughter Melinda Elaine Hector; one grandson, Terry Anthony Willis Jr. and two brothers, Alfred Jacquet Sr. and Clement Jacquet Jr.

Pallbearers will be Scott Charles, Glenn Broussard, Khristian Jones, Larry Trahan, Lance Ballot and Brent Vincent.
