Tina's obituary
She loved her job at Austin College and enjoyed the many relationships she made with coworkers and students during her time there. Because she was so kind hearted and generous, she was always passionate about helping anyone she could saying “be kinder than necessary, you never know what someone is battling”.
Left to cherish her memories are son, Eric Mitchell and wife Tonya Mitchell of Sherman, son, Casey Bannister and wife Breanne Bannister of Lewisville, daughter and best friend, Niki Brown and Tina’s claimed son-in-law, Anthony Cass, of Dallas, grandsons, Blaine Nuncio and Kolton Mitchell of Howe, granddaughter, Bailey Bannister of Lewisville, sister, Shelly Neil of Van Alstyne, brother, David Kight, of Van Alstyne, mother, Judy Kight, of Howe and many other nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her dad, Virgil Kight and her beloved partner, Rick Brown.
Tina’s wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of life will occur at a later date.
