It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tina Marie Castillo-Padron on February 17th 2025, at the age of 56, from sudden cardiac arrest. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Tina, will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help those in need, even strangers.

Tina began her life on July 16, 1968, in Abilene, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. One of the greatest joys in her life, were her grandbabies. From Abilene, Texas to Valdosta, Georgia she made it a priority to show them how much she loved them. Anyone who knew Tina, knew she could light up an entire room with her big smile and even bigger personality. She always made it a point to celebrate her loved ones whether it was a birthday, career accomplishment, holiday or anniversary.

Tina is survived by husband Lucio Padron, daughter Victoria Boone, son-in-law Joseph Boone, grandchildren Eliza, Wyatt and Bennet Boone, daughter Maria Peraza, son-in-law Steven Peraza, grandchildren, Landon and Olivia Peraza, brother Henry Castillo, partner Maria Villegas, nephew William Castillo, sister Sophia Garza, brother-in-law Richard Garza, nieces Brianna and Zoey Garza, father Henry Castillo, brothers John-Henry and Jason Castillo. Grandchildren Cristian Padron-Rocha, Elizabeth Padron-Rocha, Ismael Padron, Heylin Padron, Andrea Padron, Andres Padron, Christoval Padron, Estrelle Padron, Tadeo Padron, Sofia Padron, Ceasar Padron, Allen, Padron, Celleste Padron, Alecander Padron, Leonardo Padron, Juliette Padron and Fernanda Padron.

She was preceded in death by her mother Cherry Moreno, brother William Castillo, grandson Jacob Boone, maternal grandmother Ella Hernandez, maternal grandfather Morris Hernandez, paternal grandmother Katherine Castillo, and paternal grandfather William Castillo.

A public memorial for Tina will be held Friday February 21st, 2025 at the Sacred Heart Fellowship Hall, 837 Jeanette St, Abilene, Texas from 6:00-8:00 pm. Although Tina is no longer with us, her legacy of laughter and compassion will live on.
