Tim was giving me lessons on " how a lady drives her carriage ". I must admit, I am hopeless at it, but we had many good times rolling around the Metamora countryside, laughing all the way.
Tim was my first trainer 150 years ago when I first switched from western to hunter-jumpers. There was a wonderful group of young adults in my class, at the time, who all went on to be luminaries in our wonderful sport - Roger Turner. Sue Mills, Debbie Butler, Peg & Hutch, Scott(?) somebody, and a few others. It's hard to remember back 150 years.

Tim was always so patient, so warm and so happy. His involvement in forming the MHJA was a huge step forward back then and created wonderful opportunities for thousands of us who shared the passions of 'the horse.' Many take up the sport, but few give to it as much as Tim Wright did. We have lost a wonderful contributor to our sport, and a wonderful friend. Rest in peace, my old buddy!!
