Timothy's obituary

It is with the deepest sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Timothy Wiles, born December 10th, 1965, who left us too soon on April 11th, 2026. Known for his wit, compassion, and wisdom, Timothy made an unforgettable impact on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Karley Wiles and his sons, Drake Heth and Devin Smeallie who he always considered his son as well. Grandfather to Aiden and Raelynn Velez and Archer Krug Jr. and Sage Brooks. He was the cherished brother of Mark and Patrick Wiles, sisters Bonnie Boyer and Barb Wiles and beloved friend of Nancy and Russ Hamilton. Along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Timothy was predeceased by his parents, Nancy and Carl Wiles, his niece Nicole Oliver (Dolce), his ex-partner Kathy Smeallie, good friend Brian Shields and several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of Timothy's life will be held on Sunday May 3rd, 2026 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Helen Hazen Wyman Park 6101 Painesville Warren Road, Concord, Oh 44077.

Graduate of Riverside High School, class of 1983. He worked at a fabrication shop and shortly after he purchased his first home on Chestnut Street in Painesville City and began drag bike racing in Norwalk and Thompson, Ohio. After continuing his racing career for roughly 10 years, he went on to work in the maintenance department at Riverside Local Schools for another 10 years until around 2008 when he returned to working in a shop and joined Formtek.

Timothy took great joy in working on his many projects in his garage, enjoying his grandchildren's company, riding motorcycles, and four-wheeling with his brother, Mark. His long drives and adventures with his daughter, Karley, were amongst his most treasured moments. His legacy as a wonderful brother, friend, and the best dad ever will live on through his family and the many people he touched throughout his life.

In his memory, let us remember life is short so cherish each day and the joy it brings. Now at rest and free from pain, Timothy will be profoundly missed by all.
