From Michael J Binder

Tim, Your one true friend I will never forget.  We remember people for many different reasons a great laugh, a unique perspective on life.   Your story and only yours shared.  Mostly I will remember you coming across as a "Big Bully" but you were really a "Big Teddy Bear" inside.  You cared for people in all walks of life and shared your kindness with everyone.  I pray that you are at peace and with God.  Love You Buddy, always your friend Michael forever.

Letter to Tim Tumbleson:

Tim you are one of kind. You have so much good in your heart that you really are one that wears it on your sleeve.

My first memories of you are when I shopped in Albertson’s (Buena Park Store) and there you were filling the milk box.

I was 8-9 month pregnant 1977 and you told me how pretty I looked being pregnant with the “glow”. I thought how crazy you were but so comical at the same time. You were on your knees stocking yogurt and started talking to my baby bump. You really made me laugh. Little did I know you would soon be a friend for life when I started working at Albertson’s myself as a single mother.

You and Blythe made me feel special and cared for. You always welcomed myself and Brandy to your family. Soon there were 2 more Greg and Mikey who thought of you as family. Our vacation time together was something my kids still remember today. My children have always thought of you as another uncle. Thru the years we didn’t see each other much but our hearts were with you,  Blythe and the girls have always been in my heart as my extended family. I’ve have always loved all of you and sorry that we have not been closer.

Tim in the past couple of years we have talked nearly every month trying to make sense of your life and how to help. I’m sorry we could not heal your pain but hopefully being your sounding wall help somewhat. I know it was hard to be honest with your deep feelings but at times you opened up, and for that I appreciate the honesty. You really were a great man but also had demons of your own that really needed to be healed.

I pray that you are with God and all your demons are gone and you now can live in peace. Know that you have done the best that you could and your children can remember the good and funny times they had with you.

Tim I really loved you and thank you for the memories.
