I miss being on Tim’s trivia team because he knew everything about everything. He is the most competitive person I know yet he is still so fun to be around despite how intense he becomes no matter how dumb the game. I miss your infectious energy, Tim!

One evening, Tim came over and we decided to do takeout. When we got back from picking up food, I went straight to the dining table, started unpacking the food, and was just about to jump in when Tim, who was already at the kitchen sink washing his hands, looks at me and says mid-conversation "dude come wash your hands".
In a moment of clarity I snapped out of autopilot and shamefully thought to myself "Right, of course wash my hands, makes total sense, we were outside touching door handles and things, I can't believe I missed that". I got up, washed my hands, and enjoyed our meal and continued right where we left off.
Tim is the friend that will call you out and say it like it is, but not make you feel any lesser or let it ruin the night. Whether he's telling you to put your phone down at a meal because you're not being present, telling you that you still need to put in a couple dozen more hours of practice to nail an interview, or telling you to be more attentive about what you put in your body (I've heard all three ✌️) – Tim is always assertive, friendly, and right all at the same time so you can never be upset. After all, you know he's just looking out for you. Happy birthday Tim. Miss and love you.

Tim made such a big impact on us in a short amount of time. When we are having a good time, we miss you and wish you could be here to laugh with us, make the most outrageous and hilarious jokes, or show off the most ridiculous dance moves. When we face hardships and tough decisions, we think of you and wish we could confide in you and get your thoughtful advice and gentle but firm push to keep going. You inspire me so much - your positive outlook on things, your fun loving attitude, paired with your ambition to learn, always improve, always move forward. I strive to be more like you and miss you dearly Tim!

Three years and one month since your passing. As the shock and numbness get replaced by reminders of loss for the family, please know that you are not forgotten. Thank you for the unflappable playfulness and vivaciousness that you brought to every room, pool, field, party, and hang.

Tim was a friend in Hong Kong and our first intern for a little website I was helping run. Tim had a lot of infectious energy every day whether that was staying late to move boxes, learning to code, or just staying late to talk about Hong Kong life or give food recommendations.
He stayed in touch after. Every few months he would say we should meet up in Boston, New York, or San Francisco as he moved around. He would play with our website for fun and tell me bugs he found. More than one customer told me he introduced them to our company long after he had stopped working with us.
He really went out of his for others. Owe a lot to him. A very sweet and very rare individual. Was thinking about him today

I spent the entire summer in the same SFO apartment with Tim, when we both interned in the bay area after our first year of MBA. From a cool guy at business school, Tim became a great friend. We spent too many nights telling stories about Israel/Hong Kong (food an politics) and about our own lives, while Tim was doing push ups and listening to podcasts at 2X speed. That's the guy he was. Storyteller, curious, and a good friend.
Tim, miss you buddy. Rest in peace.

To the family of Tim Tsang,
I knew Tim from WashU, and have only kind memories of him. He was always welcoming, friendly and thoughtful, and I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing this week. I can only imagine what you must have felt, and still be feeling. I wanted to write and say how sorry I am for your loss, and that he made an impact on the lives of so many even in his few years. On this one year anniversary of his passing, my heart goes out to you all. He was a wonderful person.
My sincerest condolences,
Ashley Hudson
