I just recently learned of Tim's passing. We were in the Velvet Touch band together for many years and we always enjoyed his sense of humor and sometimes quirky mannerisms, like the time he showed up at a wedding gig dressed in his Army combat gear. He was on duty that day and snuck away long enough to play. I'm sure he is missed by many.

Timmy was my older brother so there was never a time in my life that he wasn't around until.now. I always expected him to live well into his 90s until covid got him. It's so sad but he is sending me signs from heaven so I know his soul is not dead. He was a good human being on this earth and an even better soul in heaven.

In loving memory of by sweet, kind, handsome brother Tim, my protector Pam Poulin

Tim was Valedictorian of his class at Dutches County and gave the valedictory speech. You’ll notice that his picture in his obituary was taken in front of his church, where he served on the Trustees and helped in many ways. In his Union and while in the US Army Reserves, he served as electrical Foreman in all kinds of activities, including directing the installation of air conditioning in the Panama Canal US Army Base.
When we were growing up, we roamed around the Marlboro Mountains all summer, climbing hills and hanging from monkey vines, riding our bikes to Cherry Top ice cream on Rte 32 and Plattekill for penny candies, having all kinds of fun.
Tim was also my protector: When I was in first grade, my girl friend and I were rolling around on the grass during recess. After recess, when the class would rest with their heads on their desks, my teacher Miss Hall called me forward to ask me over and over again why I was rolling around on the grass during recess.
I didn’t know! I was just a kid. All of a sudden Timmy appeared in my class room and said his teacher Mrs Dowd wanted him to bring me to his class room where they were having a party. I don’t know if his teacher had passed my classroom, saw me being grilled and sent Timmy after me or if Timmy made this up to rescue me. In any event, he rescued me several times in my life.
Tim also never missed a day of class in his 12 years at Marlboro Central School and would receive a certificate each year. Tim was a kind, loving, handsome, youthful brother who didn’t deserve to die from this awful disease.

Our deepest condolences. We will miss seeing Mr. Poulin riding around on his motorcycle or orange car.
