Timothy's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we relate the passing of Timothy Robert Merz, who left us on December 31, 2023.  Born in 1960, Timothy lived a full and meaningful life.  His spirit and energy inspired many and his vivid memories will endure.

Tim loved his lifelong pursuits of finish carpentry, fishing, boating, golfing and musical hobbies as well.  He was a fine guitarist, luthier and wood craftsman.  He had fine and varied taste in music...posessing a nice collection of recordings from Jazz and Blues to Traditional Classic as well as Classic Rock.

He will be remembered by his dear mother, Anna Hagen Merz;  his sister, Melanie K. Merz;  his brother-in-law, James F. Baldwin Jr.;  all surviving him.  Also surviving him are:  His Aunts Thelma H. Somers and Marina Block; His Cousins Kelly Herrick, Carla Fisk-Russell and Michael Fisk, Rebecca Richman, Susan Fulmer and Frederick Block Jr.; along with all of their adored children and grandchildren.  He comforted numerous friends with his humor, pragmatism and great empathy. Timothy leaves a legacy of a life lived fully, and he will most assuredly be dearly missed.  Rest in peace, my dear brother Timothy.
