Timothy's obituary
Timothy Mark Williams, known best as Tim, passed away on August 6th, 2023, at the age of 66, in Aromas, California. He was born on June 4th, 1957, in Hawthorne, California. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Julie Williams, his son Greg Williams (Jess), his twin brother Chris Williams (Cathy), his sister Pam Williams, his brother Pat Williams (late wife Kathy), and his three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Williams and his mother Shirley Williams.
While attending Leuzinger High School in Hawthorne he worked at his family's store and spent free time learning to build engines for his father's race boats. He then moved with his family to Clovis, CA where he started a career working at Clovis stone driving a truck and making deliveries all over California. It was during this time that he met his wife Julie. After marrying Julie they moved to Watsonville, CA and it was then that he started his family and also began his successful career as an automotive technician in the Monterey Bay area. With 38 years of experience, he specialized in transmissions and was highly regarded in his field. Throughout his career, he also took the time to train and mentor numerous colleagues, leaving an indelible impact on the automotive community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tim had a passion for his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. He worked hand in hand with them restoring their cabin, remodeling, rebuilding decks and so on. They also spent hours together restoring classic trucks and building go karts. He loved his dogs and cats and also had a passion for skiing. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to showcase his creativity and skill.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Tim's life will be held on August 26th, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Resurrection Catholic Community located at 7600 Soquel Drive, Aptos, CA 95003.
Timothy Mark Williams will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy as a devoted family man and a skilled technician will continue to inspire and be cherished by those who knew him.
