We met Tim & Dianne in 1988 in our little Crescent Cove neighborhood where we shared so many fun times - from babies, to surprise puppies, Easter Eggs hunts, Halloween contests, maintaining the entrance of our neighborhood and countless impromptu dinners. One of us was always on a quest for something — missing teeth, fingernails, or looking for “cards”. Tim was one-of-a-kind. He was always a fun & giving man who adored Dianne, Tommy & Tyler and always willing to lend a hand. Our hearts break for them as they struggle through this loss. H/e, we know we will see him again and we know Tim would want you to carry his strength, love for you & love for God with you each & every day. We love you all. 💗💗
My role was actually the matchmaker in Tim and Dianne’s lives. We all worked at Milico life insurance and I was on the lookout for a nice Christian good guy for my little sis. I think everyone can agree he more than fit the bill for being the best Dad, husband and friend to Dianne and everyone he met and he adored Dianne! I never remember Tim being in a bad mood or raising his voice and always being cheerful and smiling from ear to ear. He was genuine and a great listener. He didn’t deserve four years of sickness of leukemia and then Covid . We had always hoped and prayed he would beat the odds and that miracle we all prayed for was going to keep him here with us many more years. This is such a sad and huge loss on so many levels. We know we will see him again though and that he is still with us and looking over his family. Godspeed Tim and please give my Daddy a big hug from all of us down here on earth.
Tim, I want to thank you for your dedication and love you shared to our boys during our Dacula Travel years. You were a second father to so many boys, mine included. It was such a joy sitting with you and Dianne in the stands. You will forever be missed but your memories and love will live on! Until we meet again my friend.
With love,
Lisa, Scott Hamby and Addison

I remember going with Tim and a group of of singles to the Florida Keys on a Links bus where we all slept on the bus and then stayed in a campground in the Keys. It was so much fun and an adventure for us all. Tim always looked out for people and was always such a kind person, a real gentleman! I always loved how sweet he was to his mom and how he took care of her. Praying you feel the inner peace of our hope in Jesus Christ during this year of “firsts” without him and the touch of human kindness when you need it most.

One afternoon in October 2019 the doorbell rang and when I opened the door there was Tim and his smiling face. Luckily Scott was home so the 3 of us chatted about our families....family was always a priority with Tim. Tim was ‘the salt of the earth’...there aren’t too many people who epitomize this saying as Tim did. Faith filled, selfless, hard working...as genuine as you can get. Salt also adds flavor...Tim’s never ending enthusiasm at Tommy and Tyler’s sporting events was wonderful and at times entertaining 😂. He always asked about, YOU, and listened not just with his ears but with his heart. How blest we are to have know him so many years. We shall miss you friend.....see you later. Love and hugs, Chris and Scott Shepherd

Dear Henderson family,
Our hearts are broken. Tim was a treasured friend and will be greatly missed. We have a flood of wonderful, fun memories of times spent with Tim and the whole family. I can only imagine what he and Daryl are up to in Heaven!! We love you!!

My brother in law, Tim, has passed after a Herculean struggle of four years with leukemia and, in the end, Covid. Like his UGA Bulldogs, he fought to the end. And unlike Tim, we were a Tech family, of sorts (long story), but we always loved the rivalry and exchanging cheap UGA and GT Christmas ornaments every year.
He will be missed. Blessings to my little sister and Tommy and Tyler. Things will be better. Hold fast. You’ve lots of help and support.
We love you and your sweet family and appreciate Tim being such a great friend to Daryl. What a great testimony to such a wonderful man- well said !!
I so remember all the good times while living in Apalachee River Club. This was such a wonderful time in our lives . Tim, and all the others on the men’s tennis team, and our Supper Club, that we had so much fun participating in. Also our vacation at Grayton Beach , Fl, where we rented the huge vacation home, and had such a lovely time.
These are memories we’ll carry with us for the rest of our lives. Fly high, Tim. And know that we will all miss you, but know are in a wonderful place.
Tim was such a wonderful man, husband, father, son, brother in law, and so much more. He was the true meaning of a good Christian Southern Gentleman!! He will be truly missed by you, Dianne and your boys and so many more. My most favorite memory was to be a part of your wedding and to see the smile on his face when he said “I Do” to you, Di. My second most favorite memory was when I heard him call you “Janice”. 😘 Continued prayers for you and the boys. God will provide all of you the strength that you need to cope in the coming days. Love you Cheri
Dianne, my deepest condolences to you. You and your family are in my heart and prayers. I’m going to miss my peanut buddy and find comfort that he is in a better place and the memories everyone has of him can be cherished forever.
Dianne I am so very sorry to hear Tim passed away. In my memory you guys are still young kids that just started dating. I remember him coming to our apartment to pick you up for your first dates. He was a kind soul and you all were so blessed to have had a long and beautiful life and family together. I do wish we could go to the funeral but understand with the pandemic everyone cannot be there. If you need anything please reach out. We are praying for all of you. Ellen M.
