Timothy Fitzgerald, 50, passed away on May 6, 2025, in Mission Viejo, California. Born on September 3, 1974, in Middletown, Connecticut, Timothy brought warmth and joy to the lives of all who knew him.

Timothy was a devoted and loving son to Marsha Martin and her husband Mike Martin, and to Michael Fitzgerald and his wife Anne Fitzgerald. He shared a close bond with his sisters Jamie and Erin. Jamie and her husband Paul have three children—Zachary, Shane, and Ryan. Erin and her husband Dan also have three children—Drew, Marley, and Cody. Cody and his wife Krysta welcomed a son, Oliver, making Timothy a proud great-uncle as well. They cherished their uncle deeply.

Family was at the heart of Timothy’s life. He loved his nephews and niece as if they were his own children. Known for being an amazing uncle, Timothy’s presence brought laughter, comfort, and unwavering support to every family gathering. His kindness extended beyond family; he was a loyal friend whose generosity and humor left lasting impressions.

Timothy had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether casting a line while fishing or enjoying the beauty of nature, he found peace in open skies and quiet waters. A passionate sports enthusiast and food lover, Timothy embraced life’s simple pleasures with enthusiasm. His caring spirit also extended to animals—he especially enjoyed taking care of Coco and Whiskey whenever dog-sitting duties called.

Those who knew Timothy remember him as selfless, funny, kind-hearted, and generous—a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend whose absence leaves an immeasurable void.

We will dearly miss him and love him so much. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A Funeral Mass will be held on May 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Kilian Catholic Church 26872 Estanciero Dr., Mission Viejo, CA  92691
