TJ's obituary
DOLAN, Timothy James II (TJ), age 42, Orlando, FL (formerly of Wheeling, WV) passed away Monday, May 26, in the comfort of his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his father, Timothy J Dolan, daughter, Hadlee E McLeod, son Timothy J Dolan III, their mother Heather E McLeod, sister, Erica H Dolan, and niece, Gabby A Dolan. He will be deeply missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, niece, cousins, friends and co-workers. He was pre-deceased by his mother, Nannette Maynard Dolan.
TJ was a devoted father whose greatest pride and joy were his children and niece, Gabby. His love for them knew no bounds, and fatherhood was the center of his world. Alongside his children, TJ also shared a deep bond with his beloved dogs, StanLee and Loki, who were cherished members of the family. TJ had a rare gift of making everyone feel special, always showing up and staying close, offering unwavering support and love. Ambitious and full of ideas, TJ chased life with relentless energy and heart. He didn’t just talk about dreams; he pursued them with vigor, inspiring those around him to do the same. Known for his infectious laughter and quick wit, TJ had an unparalleled ability to make those around him laugh, lightening the mood and brightening even the toughest days. His humor, warmth, and resilience will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.
TJ was not only a results-driven professional but a true leader and mentor who left an indelible mark on everyone he worked with. Throughout his career, he held leadership roles at several companies, including Regional Sales Director, Southeast at Cynosure LLC. But beyond his accomplishments, it was his genuine care for others that truly defined his leadership. TJ had a remarkable gift for mentoring, always willing to share his knowledge and offer guidance to those who sought it. He took great pride in helping others grow, pushing them to reach their full potential and celebrating their successes as if they were his own. His leadership was never about titles or positions; it was about empowering people, building strong teams, and creating environments where everyone felt valued. Those who worked alongside him often spoke of his kindness, humility, and his ability to bring out the best in others. Above all, he will be remembered for the deep love he gave so freely to everyone in his life.
A celebration of TJ’s life will be held in Orlando, FL and Wheeling, WV. In Wheeling, the celebration will be held on Friday, June 6 at 6:00pm at Undo’s in St. Clairsville. The Orlando celebration will be announced at a later date, with further details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of TJ's memory.
