Timothy Adam Chattin, 51, of Shoals, IN died unexpectedly on March 03, 2023 at his home. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Tim was born on June 25, 1971 to Norman Louis Chattin and Deborah Kay (Dorsey) Chattin in Valparaiso, IN.   He was employed at Jasper Engines and Transmissions.   Anyone who knew Tim , knew him as a loving, smiling, happy man who loved his devoted wife, Lori Jean Chattin and his entire family fiercely.  He loved to laugh.  He had an immense passion for fishing and being outdoors.  Tim’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, his parents, brothers Randall (Joni) Chattin of Norfolk, Virginia and Corey (Shaye) Chattin of Evansville, Indiana.  Sons Michael Underhill,  Toby Underhill, and Aaron Underhill, all of Virginia, grandchildren Ashley Johnson, Angel Ward and Audrey Ward, Aly Burton and 2 great grand-children as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christian (Christy) Underhill, of Virginia and several extended family members.

Tim had chosen cremation prior to his passing and a celebration of his life is being planned for June 25th, 2023 with details to come at a later date.
