After a long battle with chronic pain and other illnesses, Tim completed his journey here on earth and now is held in the palm of his Father’s hand.

He leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Colleen Callies of Mahtomedi, MN, Colleen’s daughters Rebekka McCormick and Shannon Odash, who knew Tim as SD or Stepdad. Our grandchildren meant everything to Tim. Grace, Jonah, and Eliah McCormick called Tim Papa. Alec and Terra Mahoney and Reese Odash lovingly did the same. Tim’s daughter, Laura Schwartz lives in River Falls, WI with her children Raelee, Leeanna and William. Tim’s role of Papa meant the world to him.

Tim was born in Milwaukee on August 3, 1961. His parents Gustav and Mardell Callies and siblings Wendy and James predeceased him. Tim’s siblings reside in WI. They are Ralph, David, Gus Jr., Sally, Fay, Caroline, and Chris, along with nieces and nephews.

Tim also was part of a loving family from Hastings, MN. The Gary and Joanne Schauer family ‘adopted’ Tim and recognized him as the Oldest and the Boldest. Numerous pranks were played, and loving bonds were formed with his adopted siblings Dan, Tom, Donna, Ken, Glenn, and Brian. Tim loved all the nieces and nephews as well.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, August 26. Visitation will begin at 7:00. A Celebration of Life follows at 7:30. This will be held at Crossroads Church, 5590 Babcock Trail, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077. Pastor Dan Schauer will lead the service. Covid 19 precautions will be exercised. Face masks are required, and socially distanced seating is in place.
