Timothy Burgess , 47, of Logan, West Virginia, departed this life on December 18, 2020, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born June 25, 1973, in Logan, WV, he was the son of Ellery Burgess and the late Carol Albright Burgess. In addition to his mother, he was also preceeded in death by one grandson, Damien Burgess.

Timothy was a tattoo artist, and he loved to draw. He had a fascination of classic cars and enjoyed tinkering and working with them. He also loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his children: Joscelyn (Ricky) Burgess, Brittany Burgess, Joseph Burgess, Logan Price, Savannah Burgess, and Patrick Hysell; His sibling Ernest (Angela) Burgess, Matthew (Rosetta) Burgess, Becky Burgess, and June Burgess; His companion of 19 years, Tasha Clark; Nine grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 24th, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the first shelter on the left across from the train in Chief Logan State Park in Logan, WV. Burial will follow in the Burgess-Brown Cemetary at Madison Creek, WV.
