Timothy's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Byers Antolik on February 7, 2025. Born on July 7, 1954, Timothy, known affectionately to some as Tim, lived a life full of love, dedication, and passion.
Tim leaves behind a rich legacy of family, including his beloved daughter Ruthann Antolik, and son Albert "AJ" Antolik, sister, Joan Antolik, brother Mark Antolik, sister-in-laws Sue Cross and Suzanne Keller. He joins his predeceased parents Harold and Joyce Antolik, and his grandparents Steve and Elizabeth Antolik, and Ben and Ruth Byers, in eternal peace. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of his surviving family.
Education played a pivotal role in Tim's life. He was a proud graduate of Lorain Catholic High School and continued his academic journey at Borromeo Seminary on Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe, OH, where he received his B.A. in Theology in 1976. His faith guided him throughout his life and was a constant source of strength and comfort.
Tim had an infectious enthusiasm for sports and used it to forge meaningful connections with those around him. His greatest accomplishments included teaching, counseling and missionary work in British Columbia, where he made lasting impacts in many lives by sharing his faith and love. His legacy remains a testament to his caring nature. He touched the lives of those who knew him and will forever be remembered for kindness.
Tim's life was an embodiment of dedication, and he leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. Although he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to shine in our hearts and memories.
