Timmy's obituary
Timmy Hand, born on February 18, 1972, sadly departed this life on October 21, 2023. A man of boundless love and infectious silliness, Timmy's large heart touched the lives of everyone he met. His life was a testament to the simple yet influential lesson he often shared: "Have respect for others." He believed each individual deserved respect, and he strived to exemplify this in his everyday life.
Devoted to his family, Timmy is survived by his partner, Pamela Gresham; his father, Arthur Hand; his brothers, David and Ricky Hand; his nephew, Brandon Hand; and his cousin, Matthew Hand. He will also be profoundly missed by his stepdaughters, Leslie Chavez and Courtney Blizzard; his stepson, Gordon Blizzard; and his grandsons, Colby and Dj Blizzard.
An active attendee at The Fort Church, Timmy found fellowship and spiritual nourishment within its community. His love for the simple joys of life was evident in his favorite pastimes. He reveled in the flavors of potato salad and any peach drinks. His love for country music was highlighted by his adoration for Luke Combs' "Beautiful Crazy". He derived great pleasure from watching TV shows such as NCIS, FIRST 48, and PAWN STARS.
In his downtime, Timmy found solace in the cinematic world, relishing films like 'The Notebook' and 'I AM GABE'. A proud supporter of the Auburn sports teams, he also cherished the adrenaline-filled performances of wrestling matches. When not engrossed in these activities, he could often be found at his favorite local park, enjoying the peaceful serenity it offered.
Despite his fondness for the color black, Timmy's life was filled with vibrant moments and cherished memories that will continue to shine through in the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter and warmth will be missed, yet his spirit will live on in every life he touched, each person he made smile, and every heart he filled with love.
