If the measure of a man can be taken based on the ratio of what he gave to what he took, Tim was a giant indeed. He filled the souls of those around him with abundance, the air about him with music, the eyes upon him with wonder, the room surrounding him with laughter, and the memory cards of every manner of recording device with the fruits of a ceaselessly creative mind.
His spirit will endure in the stories with which he leaves us, in tales of wonder from the magnificent to the minute. We’ll forever remember him adorned in his violet velvet jacket, strapped to his bass and laying down the soundtrack for his love with which we are left.
Son and brother, lover and friend, his departure leaves our hearts broken, but soon mended by the love and gratitude for him with which we are overcome.
Tim leaves behind his father and stepmother, his mother and loving life partner, siblings, aunts, uncles, a beautiful niece and nephew, and a gaggle of grateful friends too numerous to count. A memorial service will be arranged for August.
