Tighe's obituary

In Loving Memory of Tighe LeBlanc

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Tighe LeBlanc, who left us on February 14, 2025, at the age of 65 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His passing was unexpected due to a heart attack, leaving behind family and friends who loved him deeply.

Tighe was born on January 27, 1960, in Smithville, Ontario. After completing college, Tighe moved to Winnipeg, where he made his home and built a life filled with love and adventure. He was predeceased by his cherished parents, Garnet and Bernice LeBlanc. Tighe was a loving and devoted husband to Lorrie LeBlanc, a proud father to Bryce LeBlanc (Bianca) and Reid LeBlanc (Nicole), and a beloved son-in-law to Marilyn Lutz.

He was a treasured sibling to Wayne Higson, Darcene Saxe, Craig LeBlanc, and Lorina LeBlanc. Tighe’s warmth, humor, and zest for life left a lasting impression on his in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will always hold dear the memories of his laughter and kind spirit.

In the past three years, Tighe and Lorrie embraced the freedom of adventure, traveling across the U.S. in their RV, creating cherished memories, and spending summers in Teulon and Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba. Tighe found immense joy in boating on Lake Winnipeg, where he connected deeply with nature’s beauty.

Tighe’s presence, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life in Tighe's honor will be held at a later date, and details will be shared when available.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist them during this difficult time. Tighe’s passing has created unexpected financial burdens, and any contribution, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated as they navigate this challenging period. Your support and kindness mean the world to them.

Rest in peace, Tighe. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
