Tiffany Jeannine “Mitchell” Spano of Lubbock, TX went to be with Jesus on Saturday December 27, 2025, at the age of 45 years old. Tiffany was born on July 18, 1980, in Lubbock, TX to Randy and Peggy Mitchell. Tiffany graduated from Coronado High School where she went on to Texas Tech University and received a bachelor’s degree in education. After graduating from Texas Tech Tiffany went on to fulfill her passion in teaching elementary school children at Trinity Christian School and Upland Heights Elementary School where she made a huge impact in these children’s lives and was a guiding light who touched countless lives with patience, wisdom and kindness with every lesson that she taught.

Outside of being a teacher, Tiffany was a loving mother to her two daughters, Ally and Audrey Spano. Tiffany loved her daughters unconditionally, was their fiercest protector and their number one cheerleader in life. Tiffany was a devoted, loyal, and selfless friend and would drop anything to help her friends and close loved ones no matter what was going on in her own life. Tiffany was also a daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and aunt, and she was a ray of light in her family.

Tiffany was a diehard Texas Tech Fan and never missed an opportunity to express excitement and support for her favorite team. Tiffany loved music and could cite lyrics to many Texas Country and 90’s country songs, she loved to host and entertain people who came to her house, and she loved playing games with her family and friends but most importantly Tiffany loved her Lord Jesus Christ. Tiffany will always be remembered for her wittiness, infectious laugh, sense of humor, loyalty, beauty and kindness.

Tiffany is survived by her two daughters Ally and Audrey, her mother, Peggy Mitchell, her sister, Alicia Matthews, her brother, Brandon Mitchell, her four nieces (Madison, Sadie, Emmy, Elizabeth), her uncle, Mike(Kelly) Mitchell, her aunt, Pam Mitchell, her aunt, Jeannine Grantham, her uncle George (Suzanne) Grantham, her cousins (Amy(Attis) Comer, April Grantham, Jenna Grantham) and many more that loved her unconditionally. Tiffany was preceded in death by her father, Randy Mitchell, her maternal grandfather/grandmother, George and Virginia Grantham and her paternal grandfather/grandmother, Bill and Jean Mitchell.
