Tiffany's obituary
Our dear Tiffany Christensen passed away on Sunday March 12 at approximately 10:15 am. She spent her final days surrounded by loved ones celebrating cherished relationships and wonderful memories of a life well lived.
Born with Cystic Fibrosis, doctors originally said that Tiffany had a 50/50 chance of living past the age of 18. Over the years, she was the grateful recipient of two separate double lung transplants. Tiffany then spent her remaining time championing patient- centric healthcare. She wrote a book( https://www.amazon.com/Sick-G… ), hosted a podcast ( sickgirlspeaks.com ) and was paid to speak to families and healthcare professionals all around the globe.
Grateful for a wonderful 49 years, Tiffany was at peace with her death and she looked forward to her journey beyond this earth. She lived in Cary, NC with her beloved dogs Professor Pickles & Bunny. She is survived by the love-of-her-life John Rowe in Cary and her parents, John and &Jeanne Christensen in Raleigh, as well as her siblings, Lori Evans with Steve Evans, Jill Christensen-Mertens with Paul Mertens and Jay Christensen, all in Raleigh. She also leaves best friends and citizens of the world Elizabeth Van Meter, John Barbieri and Andrew Michael Nolan.
The family is planning a memorial for Tiffany to take place this summer, around the time of her 50th birthday. We will post more information about the service here on Facebook in the coming months.
