THOMAS W. SMITH, 69, of Memphis, a carpenter, Truck driver and Korean War  veteran died Friday at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Family Funeral Care Summer Avenue Chapel has charge.  Mr. Smith, the husband of Freda Sue  Bannister Smith. They were married on: 25 April 1953 in Corinth, Alcorn county, Mississippi, , Besides his wife of 49 years  he also leaves two daughters, Melinda Rodarte and Elizabeth Sanderson, and two sons, Michael Smith and James Smith, all of Memphis; a sister, Carolyn Stout of Martin, Tenn., three grandchildren, Chasity  Smith, Her brother Clayton T. Smith, And Dustin M.L. Sanderson and a great-grandchild By his Granddaughter.
