Lester's obituary
Thomas Lester Cope went home to Jesus on August 15, 2021 at age 83. Tom was born to Lucious and NetteBelle on September 27, 1932 in Sylvia, North Carolina. As a child, helping his dad around the horses was his favorite thing to do. Tom met Jill, his loving wife of 51 years in 1968, They married and went on to have 1 son and two daughters, 2 grandsons, 3 granddaughters and 1 great-great granddaughter.
He spent 31 years in the United States Army before retiring to Seattle, Washington to allow his wife pursue her dreams. Both settled in Seattle, before settling again in Quinlan. Texas.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jill and all children, great grandchildren and also by his great great grandchildren.
