Background
Tom loved floating rivers in Texas and had a lot of history on the Brazos. He supported and participated in to clean up days with Friends of the Brazos River.
Tom also had an obscure genetic disease called amyloidosis (nothing to do with cause of death). He learned about it through his father who was diagnosed with it, and since then Tom and his sisters have become active in the support groups and been a part of studies.
Lastly, Tom was a supporter of the effort to help rebuild the Mason country courthouse after an arsonist set it ablaze in 2021. Contribute to Friends of the Brazos River
