Tommy's obituary

Thomas Otto “Tommy” Stuart went with the Lord peacefully at 9 am on October 3rd, 2023. Tommy was born in Poteet, Texas on February 1, 1953 to Jeff Stuart and Ruth Ryan. He married his beautiful wife, Lauri, in December of 1974. With her always at his side, they raised four strong young men. Tommy was a cherished member of the Timberlane community, where he made many life long friends and participated in the neighborhood watch program on his off time. He was a dedicated car enthusiast who spent over 30 years in the automotive industry. Tommy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He supported all his boys in every venture and adored spoiling his grandchildren.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Lauri; sons: Michael, Matthew, Mark, and Scott; grandchildren: Tristan, Madison, Ace, Felix, Kaiden, and Rylee; brother and sister: Randy and Janie; and loving stepfather, Donald Jackson. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa; his mother and father, Ruth and Jeff, and his granddaughter, Shelby.

A memorial service for Tommy will be held at the Church at Creeks End in Spring, Texas on October 21st at 10:30 am. A Celebration of life will follow the service and will be held at the Track Shack Ice House in Spring.

The family would like to thank the nurses and oncology staff at St. Luke’s as well as the staff at Heart to Heart Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.
