Thomas's obituary

Thomas Edgar Soule of Angleton, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 26,2023 in his home in Angleton, Texas. He was born September 5, 1948, in New York, later moving to Middletown, Ohio. Tom answered the call to serve his country in 1967 as a Boiler Technician(BT) in the U.S. Navy. While enlisted, he received the Vietnam Service medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. After being honorably discharged in 1971, Tom worked as Chief engineer for several high-rises in Houston, Philadelphia, and South Florida before retiring. He loved spending time with his beloved cat Rosie and the cows that would visit in the field across the road from his home. He especially loved talking to his children and would always end the conversation with “Be safe, be careful. Love you very much, have a blessed day.” Tom was preceded in death by his parents Malcom Elroy Soule and Joyce Ellen Soule. Surviving is his brother Jim Soule of Addison, Pennsylvania, his son Michael (Lisa) Soule of Middletown, Ohio, his daughter Paula (Michael) Parker of Rosharon, Texas. Grandchildren Ciara, Jennifer, Justin, and Paige. Great- Grandchildren Stella Rose and Serenity Grace. Tom’s cremation and memorial service with Navy funeral honors will be held at Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038 on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 2:30pm.
