T.R.'s obituary

Tommy requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We'd like to extend an invitation to all of T.R.’s loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating his well-lived, often colorful life at Avery Recreation Area (go on Blakely Mountain Dam road to first left, follow flags) on Sunday, May 29th from 11 am to 4 pm. A life well-lived deserves to be celebrated, and that’s exactly what we are going to do in the only way he’d want. Appetizers and beverages will be served as we come together to remember the kind, funny, thoughtful man that T.R. was. It is our hope that through this celebration, we will all leave with smiles of fond memories and his spirit in our hearts. You all meant so much to him, and he would be thrilled to think that everyone was meeting up to reminisce. There is no need for flowers. Your smiles are the best gift you can give.

Until we meet again, we know he's "gone to the place that's the best"...
