Tommy's obituary

Thomas 'Tommy' Pistone III, of Charlotte, NC, passed away at home on September 14th, 2024.

Tommy grew up in a large family. He loved playing soccer and racing cars in his youth. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from UNC-Charlotte. He ran Tiger Tom Pistone Motorsports for his grandfather, whom he cared for daily. His daughter, Taylor, was his greatest pride and joy. He lived to take care of his family. Tommy's love of animals led him to begin a non-profit animal rescue in 2016. His infectious smile and easy manner made him a friend to many.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Taylor Pistone; his grandfather, Tiger Tom Pistone; along with extensive family members.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Pistone, Jr; his grandmother, Crystal P. Pistone; and his aunt, Rosie Pistone.

At his request, there will not be a public memorial. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the local animal rescue of your choice in his honor.
