Thomas's obituary

Thomas Michael Watson, age 70, of Cathedral City, California, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024.

Tom was born in Decatur, Illinois and then moved with his family to southern California (Glendora) in 1963. He kept close to several friends in Decatur, however and traveled there occasionally.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Richard, his mother, June and his older brother, Rob.

Tom's surviving family includes husband Joe, older brother Gary, nieces Melissa, Wendy and Amy, grandnephews Chris, Cody, Casey and Parker and grandniece Avery.  Tom and Joe were together for over 43 years.

Tom was a journeyman electrician for over 20 years and retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Then Tom entered the real estate agent community and lately had become a valued expert assisting other real estate agents with their documentation.

Tom became a Roman Catholic five years ago and regularly attended Sunday mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Palm Springs, California.

A love of movies and pets added spice to his life.
