Background
The founder, Paul Farmer, is a physician and anthropologist who has successfully fostered the introduction of treatment, such as AIDS medications in locations previously without such care, and wrongly to be believed poor candidates for it. Thomas McLean was a generous loving man who cared about the welfare of others less fortunate than he. This foundation helps to fulfill his caring spirit. Contributions in the memory of Thomas James McLean can be sent in his name to Partners in Health, P.O Box 996, Frederick MD, 21705.
