I miss Tom. In addition to welcoming me into the family, he welcomed all of my kids without hesitation. When I do fun things with, Caelan, who is 8, and I take pictures, my next move is to send those photos to him. And I miss being able to share that with Tom. He loved being a grandpa. I know Caelan misses him too.

Tom and I have been friends since the 80's....so many stories and memories. One of the funniest was when I was planning a trip to Mexico with girlfriends. However, I was hesitant to leave my 16 year old son home alone, so I asked Tom to stay at my house and "babysit". They would never tell me what went on but laughed about the big parties they had at my house. I'm not sure who babysat whom!

So sorry to hear about Tom. Tom and I had volunteered together at Banner Hospital. We had a many good times together. After I moved to Florida, we would stay in touch by phone. Tom was a good friend and he will be truly missed. Prayers are for you Tom.

Tom and I go back over 40 years in Portland, Oregon and continued in Phoenix where he moved to be closer to his parents. So many fun, wonderful memories through out the years we have been friends. We still talked every couple of weeks after he moved and it gives me one more memory of my time with him even on the phone. Saw Tom several times while visiting a friend in Phoenix. I will truly miss him teasing me that I was so much older than him. (13 days) and so glad we both got to celebrate our 80th year. Will always love and never forget our Tommy. Jan Kaplan
