I was so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. He was such a nice and loving person.

I was fortunate enough to work directly with Tom here at COA, and also at our previous company.  I will always treasure our chats about our kids, our families, him growing up all over as a military brat, his time in the Army Airborne, a shared love of aviation, of cooking, music, random tech projects - so many things. If you never got to hear about what meat he was smoking for a family get-together, you missed out. He'd send pictures from the grill on holidays or random weekends, and even as a vegetarian my mouth would be watering! When we'd talk about being dads, he set the bar so high, and so easily.  He was always so very proud of what his kids were up to, and even when he had to give them a ride to work or pick them up from a show in the middle of the night he never complained.  He might have yawned a little more the next morning, but if the job of parenting demanded it, he did it.  He was a mentor, a coach, a role model, and a friend, and I'll always be thankful to have known him.

My condolences and I am sorry for your loss. I never met Tom but I am sure he was a hard working, dedicated person.
