Thomas's obituary

Thomas John Walsh, 24, is now resting eternally with his family members that predeceased him. 

Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on July 24, 1997, Thomas grew up boating and fishing in the Long Island Sound, was a scout, played baseball, basketball and football through middle school. He spent his high school years riding his ATV and dirt-bike, graduated from Seymour High in 2015 and briefly attended Naugatuck Valley CC. 

Thomas was a kind soul, hard worker, a loyal friend, dog lover, bonsai grower and loved to cook. He was creative and would draw, write (especially rap) and create wooden items, mostly to hold his plants. 

Thomas is survived by his step grandparents Don and Helen Bell, his mother Kimberly and stepfather David Bell all of Newark DE, his father Sean Walsh and stepmother Jean Blakeslee of Guilford, CT, his sister Stephanie and her wife, sister-in-law Jeanalynn Samson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, stepbrother Corey Bell (Stephanie Bice) and family of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, stepbrother Josh Bell (Ashlee) and family of Parksburg, Pennsylvania, stepsister Susan Sanchez (Francisco) and family of Guilford, CT and stepbrother Scott Bialczak of North Branford, CT, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him unconditionally.

A memorial service in Delaware will be held at 7 PM on Friday, March 25th at the Newark United Church of Christ, 300 E. Main Street, Newark, Delaware 19711.

A memorial service in Connecticut will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, March 27th at the Seymour Congregational Church 45 Broad Street Seymour Connecticut 06483

In rememberance of Tom, the family asks that you be kind and compassionate toward others and not take a single day for granted.
