Tom’s dad Albert, and my mom Edna, were brother and sister. Our two families along with our grandparents, Tom and Polly James, spent much time together in our formative years. All holidays were spent together eating wonderful meals and playing the best card and board games. We had lots of fun together. Summer vacations were spent in Lincoln City collecting agates and seaglass and, of course, playing fun games. I’d lost touch with Tom over the past few decades. He was always my favorite cousin. What a great laugh he had and wonderful sense of humor. I’ll miss him.
