Thomas Hicks, 54, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on August 31, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.

Thomas was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Tiffany Wilkins & Brittany Welch, and Cheryl hicks and always tried his best to support them. Anyone who knew Thomas knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He is survived by Wife Cheryl Hicks, Brother Micheal hicks, Son Larry hicks, daughter Tiffany Wilkins, Daughter Brittany Welch, Son in law Jarromie Wilkins, Son in law John Welch. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Lawson & son funeral homes. There will be a funeral service/memorial at [Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 at Lawson funeral homes at approximately 9:30 am. Thank you for supporting us durring this difficult time.
