Thomas's obituary
He proudly served his country as a Combat Engineer. Soon after he started his 30+ year career in pipe fitting where he had the opportunity to travel all over America. He spent his most recent time in Columbia, SC being a full-time, Stay-at-Home Grandpa (Grizzpa) where he enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. His favorite places were an open road on his Harley or sitting in the backyard watching the sunset while listening to his grandchildren playing in the distance.
He is survived by his father, Joseph Edward Grissom, daughter, Miranda “Monk” Rakes, grandchildren, Kale, Skylar and Nico, sisters, Gail, Denice and Amy, nieces, Stephanie, April, Ashley, Makayla, nephews, Joseph, Aaron, Zachary, Tyler and so many friend from coast to coast.
