Thomas's obituary

Thomas Boland Griffith passed away on July 11th, 2020, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, passion, and deep connection with those who knew and loved him. He was a devoted husband to Kelly Lowe Griffith and a loving father to his daughters Kimberly Griffith, and Tomlyn Pelkey. 

Thomas spent his early years in Baltimore, where his love for music and performance first came to life. In his youth, he was known for doo-wopping on the streets with friends, immersed in the rich musical culture of the city. Those formative experiences helped shape his lifelong appreciation for rhythm, storytelling, and creative expression.

He later became known for his work in independent film, contributing to cult classics such as The Alien Factor, Nightbeast, and Fiend. His work reflected his imaginative spirit and dedication to bringing unique and memorable stories to life, leaving a lasting impression on audiences and collaborators alike.

At the time of his passing, Thomas was in the process of developing a film project titled The Myles Hall Project, continuing his passion for storytelling and filmmaking.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Lowe Griffith, and his daughters Kimberly Griffith and Tomlyn Pelkey, who will carry his memory forward with love.
