My heartfelt and deepest condolences to the entire Graydon family.  I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful son, Carter.  I thoroughly enjoyed my interactions with Carter while he was at Investortools in Yorkville.  He was bright, kind, creative and fun to be around.  My heart is broken over his early passing.  May our Lord provide you with comfort and peace in the midst of these sorrowful days.  Y'all are in my prayers.

Much love and hugs to you all.

Sincerely,

John

Stuart, Judy and family - Carter was such a joy for both of us to work with. Ron would often comment how patient and thorough he was when he wore his IT hat at Investortools. And he and I had a lot of fun, laughter and interesting conversations when we worked on SEO initiatives together. He was truly a special soul and this world was better because of him.

We have been heartbroken on hearing of the passing of Carter. May God comfort all your family and friends. Ron and Margaret Sexton and our family.
I'm grateful I got to know Carter. At work, he brought enthusiasm to the tiniest complaints, approaching everything as a puzzle to solve, rather than a problem to deal with. We shared a love of trying to optimize how our tech worked for us, and fixing things rather than just putting up with it (his automatic email filtering was on a level the likes of which I have ever seen). He went out of his way to share his knowledge and skills, walking me through how to replace a tiny heat sink and fan in a laptop to get just as bit more life out of it. We talked about wanting to get into arduino, and I was going to try and teach him how to use an LED leviwand at his EDM events, something not many people I know are interested in learning, so it meant a lot to me. He was so easy to get along with, I enjoyed talking to him about tattoos, our cats, and video games (even when our tastes in games didn't overlap at all). I'm grateful for the memory of playing pool against him and losing twice. Having Carter around felt like having a kindred spirit, and I will miss him profoundly.
I was shocked when I heard the news about Carter and wish it weren't so. We feel a sense of loss, too, but clearly not as acutely as your family. We'll be praying for strengthened and steadfast faith and peace from God, as you face the hardness of this unexpected loss. Andy (and Margie)

Carter was an incredible human... amazingly intelligent, compassionate, and passionate about his interests. By far the  best sneaker game in town, Carter was always so fully and delightfully himself and was a joy to be around both in and outside of the office. Watching him navigate complicated network engineering issues while retaining enough patience to kindly help the rest of us with simple computer issues was a lesson in grace. He also had that delightful ability to explain something so well that you were temporarily fooled into thinking that you too might be a computer genius.

I will miss grabbing dinner with Carter and hearing about his latest tattoos, his cats, and bonding over growing up in the south. My thoughts are with your family and everyone who loved this kind, incredible person.

Dear Judy and Stuart and all the Graydon family,

I am so sorry for the passing of Carter.  May the Lord help you through these difficult times.  Our prayers are with all of you.

With love,

Rosaline & Gibb
