Thomas Grant Brown Sr. of Linden Tennessee age 80, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Thomas was born on December 3, 1941, in Gary, Indiana. Thomas graduated from Bishop Noll High School in 1960, where he played football and his number was 72. Thomas worked at Inland Steel Company where he retired. He married Dorothy Gaddis on September 15, 1962, and had three children together. On May 26, 2001, Thomas married Martha Jeanne Coward in Linden, Tennessee. Thomas is survived by his wife; Martha Jeanne (Coward) Brown, daughter, Catherine (Brown) Davis, son, Thomas Brown Jr., who died on March 18, 2018, daughter, Debra (Brown) Mims, five grandchildren, David Nava, Michael Nava Jr., (Jackie Nava), Nicole (Nava) Wood, (Billy Wood), Zachary Shuler, Dylan Shuler, two great children, Devonte Davis and Michael Nava III, and brother Lawrence Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl Brown and Rose Ireland, and many other loving family members and friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
