My deepest condolence On Tom’s passing. Try to remember all the great memories and laughter he brought to your life!! It truly helps in healing!! When I moved to DC in June 1963 at the timid age of 17, Delores and Tom became my protectors! I can remember Tom chauffeuring us back to Pa approx every two weeks from DC. He was such a caring and kind individual. May God give him peace! Carolyn Jean Gaydos Parsons
Dear Jean and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Tommy was such a wonderful person who loved life and enjoyed and lived each day to the fullest. He always made each of us feel very special each time we saw him at our family gatherings. May the memories you hold dear to your heart carry you through this difficult time. Our thought and prayers continue to be with you. Much love. Debbie Gaydos and Jay Livak and Family
To Jean and Family:
I had the honor of visiting with Tom in your home the day before his passing. Thank you so much for allowing a forty year friendship filled with laughs and tears to end with peace and dignity befitting the wonderful man that we knew Tom to be over the years. Our deepest condolences are extended to you and the entire family.
May the love of God bless and keep you and your family in the days ahead.

My sincerest condolences are extended to your family at this difficult time. I remember going to Lorton during my summer visits with my aunt, Michelle Giles. It was then that I met Mr. Gaydos. He was always very kind to me when I was there . He always made me feel special at each visit. Bless you all in the days to come as well.
Jeanie, you & family are in my prayers.May you find comfort in the days to come through your loving memories of Tom.I shall cherish the relationship, Tom & I had dating back to 1985 at both Central Facilty & Medium Security Facility, of DC-DOC. His legacy as a correctional professional will go down in the history of DC-DOC.The friendship we fostered until his death shall never be forgotten as well.
By chance we became colleagues but our craziest & love of DOC made us friends.
Sincerely ,
Michelle A. Giles

My family and I linda sweet) visited with Tom and Jean several years ago. They were a wonderful host family and we will never forget time spent there. He was a truly good man. I wish we lived closer so that we could have known him better. Jean is my cousin whom I love very much. Hope we see each other again before we go to heaven. Thanks for all the memories. Love you and pray for the family I know tom is in a better place. My heart aches for you jean
I am really sorry to hear about Tom, he was always encouraging, and nice to me!! I only knew him for a short time, but he is quite memorable!! I will be praying for you, Jean, Saundra,
and the family!! May the Lord give you comfort, and strength!!❤️
I used to work with Tom, he was very nice to me, I was at my desk, and I could always tell when it was Tom coming up the stairs! It was a very hot day, him, and Rick were just getting back and Tom would flop in his chair really hard, and I thought he broke it, and he said I have almost broken it a hundred times!!! Haha!! I will miss him, I didn’t get to say goodbye so how about I will see you there in heaven!!
