Thomas David Gavette passed away on April 12, 2021, and the world lost a beautiful soul. Thomas, age 67, had a heart of gold and a steadfast dedication to those he loved, especially Anita, his best friend and wife for over 35 years. His willingness to lend an ear, lend a hand, climb a tree, perform repeated accompaniments to Heart and Soul, and even engage in toy sword duels, made him a favorite brother, uncle and great-uncle. We will never forget his infectious laugh or big warm hugs. Tom appreciated the little things in life; spending time with his family , including “dinner and a movie” nights and Chinese Christmas dinner with his siblings, a good laugh, and “catching up” over the phone. Whether playing with his cat Daisy, getting the “perfect sound” from his stereo, or having a good cup of coffee, he was genuine and kind and he was taken too fast and too soon. “The trouble is, you think you have time.” - Buddha
Preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Violet Gavette, and his older Brother Leonard, (Judith).
Tom is survived by his sisters, Pamela Korpolinski (Dan), Gloria Latimer (Gary) and Kathy Tremlett (Larry), and his brother Larry (Sue). Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
