Thomas's obituary

Thomas David Esaia passed away on December 23, 2022. He died at home, after a battle with lung cancer.

Tom was a devoted husband and loving father. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Hewitt Esaia, his mother Joyce Warner, father Peter Esaia Sr., sister Cheryl Rose, and brother Robert Esaia. He leaves behind and will be incredibly missed by his children Michelle Connor, Laura Esaia and Thomas Esaia Jr., and by his brother Peter Esaia Jr, his half-sisters Sharon Conley, Heidi Doire and his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

One of the sincerest and most honest souls on this planet, Tom was a strong and kind man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.

Early in life, Tom learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic in us (his children). He was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or to replace a spark plug.

He was a man of strong faith and he taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to.

Father, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.

No services will be held, but donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
