Thomas's obituary
Thomas Dale was a genius! He was like a mad inventory without the insanity. The one thing everyone who knew him called him was humble. Tom would give you the shirt off his back, or coding for free that would make you millions. He did not care about government produced paper money; he was rich in life. He was survived by his love Linda and many people lucky enough to call him Dad, friend or a mentor. He died September 5, 2021 at 2:32am and was met at the heavenly gates by his late wife Veronica Dale who died on November 16, 1994.
Thomas Dale was born on October 24, 1951 in a nursing home in Quebec. He was supposed to be born in Ontario but thanks to overcrowding caused by the Baby Boom last minute arrangements were made. He came to America in the 1980s after making his first million dollar product. He used his share of the profits to convince his business partner to sponsor him and his family in the USA. He loved the freedom in business and life the United States allowed; and his business partner Frank Paytas became a lifelong friend and a cherished counsel to his children throughout their lives.
Tom got the title of Dad in 1984 and treated his step children or birth children the same. At every challenge life brought his way, through persistent determination and ingenious thinking Tom was an example of humility and generosity to every life he touched. He was a leader with many titles: Dad, mentor, manager, and/or business partner; he understood we all rise when we lift each other up. He was a man who taught you how to fish after feeding you supper.
Thomas Albert Dale died living his best life! Rich in love, family, and money, he spent his time present in everything he loved. He left the world a better place and his children were honored from stories around the world how he mentored the next generation to continue what he started. Tom loved space, creating computer software and troubleshooting problems. Companies from Intel to SpaceX have benefitted from Tom’s talent and the University of York showcases coding to the first computer at the University of Waterloo, his daughter Candice Trefero donated after his death.
Thomas Dale was the son of Douglas and Lauretta Dale. Brother of: Donna Chadderton, Bob Dale, and Ginny Kerry. He was called Dad by: Carolyn Tremblay, Candice Trefero, Samantha Dale, Darolyn Kircher and Zac Dale. He was the Grandpa or Opa to: Krista-Lynn Tremblay, Stepfan Trembaly, Tiffanie Tremblay, Zoe Dale, Landon Trefero, Bradley Catoe, and Harleequynn Trefero. He was great-grandpa to: Jade Tremblay, Sadie Trembaly, Ryker Tremblay, Bella Tremblay and Zaiyden Tremblay.
This world will be a better place whenever whoever knows him honors him by doing the way he did. It was important that upon his death people would remember that “when a man dies, he does not leave. He feeds the trees or is in the breeze, and if you listen long enough with your heart you will feel him near once again”
