MSgt. Thomas Lester Cope, 83, passed away peacefully at his ranch on August 15, 2021.  Tom was a decorated veteran who served in the United States Army for 31 years  and served one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. Tom was born on September 27, 1932 in Sylvia, North Carolina to his parents Lucious and Nelle Cope.  Tom was predeceased by death by one sister, a brother and grandson.  He is survived by his loving wife, Jill Cope, two daughters Merry Norwood and Erin Seely, and 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
