My condolences  to the Chasm family. Tom was a great friend and mentor to me. I will miss his sense of humor and kindness.  May his soul rest in peace!
Tom was one of my most influential mentors in my life, I got to spend a decade getting to know him. He always pushed me to be my best, and when push came to shove, he shoved me off a cliff into my new career believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. With out his encouragement and "gentle" push off that cliff I wouldn't be where I am today.  I always made it a point to visit him when I was around and had the enjoyed our last conversation we had but a week or two before his passing. Tommy, I'll see you one day, but hopefully not to soon.

Jon Sportsman Tom and I were on a Harley ride in central Oregon. Jon was in front than Tom than me. Jon went into a corner than Tom. noticed

Tom was not paying attention and he started going wide on the corner and off the road. I got to him and thr bike was sitting in deep sand  Ilooked at him and i will never for get what he said " I JUST SAW JESUS"  Jon drove the bike out and we went on our way

Tom was my boss for many years.. the last memory I have with him was helping him clean out his old yard in Oakland called Oprah. We came upon a huge amount of fencing material and instead of him selling it for scrap metal he gave it to me at no cost it was so much material I almost had enough to fence my 10 acre ranch.. I will be forever grateful for working for him he was a great guy!If we are promised to a second life I will work for him in a heart beat. I send my deepest condolences to the family🙏
