Thomas's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Burgess on October 14, 2023. Born on April 6, 1968, Thomas lived a vibrant life filled with love, achievements, and enduring relationships.
Thomas made remarkable contributions to the people who loved him and the community around him. He was an incredibly talented Master Carpenter, a profession he took up in 1987 and which he passionately pursued throughout his life. His knack for detail and craftsmanship was only surpassed by his love for his family, sports, and games. A devotee of the New York Rangers and San Diego Chargers, his enthusiasm and support for his teams never waned. An ardent gamer, Thomas found solace and excitement in the virtual worlds he explored in online games.
His personality, best described as easy-going and giving, made him a cherished figure within his community and family. His favorite recreational activities were playing with his grandchildren and working with his son. His favorite color, green, reflected his love for the environment. One of his greatest accomplishments was the legacy he left behind in his children and grandchildren, who will continue to carry his memory forth with love and respect.
Thomas was pre-deceased by his mother, Dottie Jenkins. His memory will be cherished by his ex-wives Meredith Smith and Denise Burgess, his ex-partner Traci Alfano, his sister Dawn Burgess, and his children Jessica Burgess, Thomas J Burgess, Angelina Burgess, and Brittney Fauss-Johnson. His pride and joy, his grandchildren Nora Burgess, Isla Burgess, Gracilee Burgess, Gabriel Burgess, Braxton Burgess, Kaylynn Bell, and Roman Seals, will miss their beloved grandfather. His nephew Anthony Burton, niece Nichole Burton, and step-son Aldo Dell'A Quila will fondly remember him.
Our hearts go out to everyone who was touched by Thomas's life. His life was one well-lived and he will be greatly missed by all his loved ones.
